Location
The apartment is situated within the Hacienda Riquelme resort, in Murcia, Spain. It is in South-Eastern Spain.
The area enjoys a true Mediterranean climate, with smooth winters and warm summers. We can’t guarantee the weather but history has shown that the area has more than 300 days of sun every year and very few days of rain.

The apartment is approximately 20 minutes (by car) from Murcia San Javier International Airport (SJM). Some flyers also come from Alicante airport (about 45 mins away).
San Javier airport is well served from the UK, with flights available from: Belfast, Birmingham, Blackpool, Bristol, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Liverpool, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Nottingham / East Midlands and Southampton.
The village of Sucina is a few minutes away (by car). This features a chemist, bank, (larger) Spar supermarket along with a recently opened English fish and chip shop and a bar/pub.
Beyond Sucina, San Javier is approx 10 minutes away (by car) – here you will find even more shops/cafes/etc together with a shopping centre.
North of the resort is Los Alcazares (approx 20 minutes by car) where you will find restaurants, bars, cafes in the square together with banks, supermarkets and shops. This area is only 5 minutes walk away from the wonderful beaches of Mar Menor, where you will find a wide range of bars, restaurants, etc and you can take part in various watersports such as water skiiing and jet skiing. We highly recommend Johnny’s German Bar in Mar Menor!
